Amelia Smith
Media Officer
Amelia is Reprieve’s Media Officer. She works closely with the Casework and Policy teams to pitch stories and investigations about our work and shape the narrative around our clients. Prior to joining Reprieve, Amelia was a journalist specialising in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade. She is the editor of two non-fiction books about Egypt and the Arab Spring, and author of a novel set in Syria in the early days of the uprising.
