Gurpreet has told David Cameron that his brother’s life is in the foreign secretary’s hands more than six years after Jagtar Singh Johal was arrested and detained in an Indian prison.
Gurpreet has said there is hope that as a former prime minister David Cameron can use his skills to bring his brother back to the UK.
“The UK government has said it is looking for a resolution, this should be that my British-born-and-bred brother should be brought back to his family in the UK where he can continue his life,” Gurpreet told Sky News.
