The Sunday Times reports on the failure of the Foreign Office to evacuate a dangerously ill British woman from a detention camp in northeast Syria, where a leading neurologist says she will die without treatment.
“Her condition has become critical and a local doctor told her that without urgent surgery, she will die,” our Director Maya Foa said in a letter to Foreign Secretary James Cleverly. “She requires immediate medical assistance that cannot be provided in northeast Syria.”
