Well, I guess no one’s going to call” Edward Earl Johnson said as he was strapped into Mississippi’s gas chamber and his hopes of justice faded. “OK, let’s get this over with”.

The switch was thrown by the executioner, and Edward’s life was taken. Those were his last words.
