Individuals who do not comply risk harsh prison sentences or <a href=\"https:\/\/reprieve.org\/us\/2023\/01\/31\/saudi-arabia-and-the-death-penalty-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-rise-in-executions-under-mohammed-bin-salman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">even death<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes after an OHCHR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohchr.org\/en\/press-releases\/2023\/05\/saudi-arabia-un-experts-alarmed-imminent-executions-linked-neom-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> detailing the displacement of Howeitat tribe members, whose homes have been demolished without fair compensation.
