On November 25, 2020, a German court ruled against Yemeni engineer Faisal Bin Ali Jaber, as he continues to seek justice for his relatives, killed by a missile fired from a US drone eight years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drone strike relied on radio and signals assistance from Ramstein airbase, and in 2019 a lower court in Germany ruled that Ramstein’s “central role” in missile attacks that “regularly cause civilian casualties” in Yemen, the German government had a duty to ensure that the US drone programme complies with international law, and to protect the lives of those targeted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
