With years of experience in the human rights space, Ali has conducted research and advocacy on documenting human rights abuses, particularly in conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining Reprieve U.S., Ali worked with various non-profits and think tanks, including Mwatana for Human Rights, a leading Yemen-based organization, where he focused primarily on international humanitarian law (IHL) and efforts to mitigate civilian harm in conflict. Ali completed a year-long fellowship at Columbia University as an Obama Scholar, concentrating on human rights, civil society, and leadership.
