{"id":9383,"date":"2020-04-02T16:29:48","date_gmt":"2020-04-02T16:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reprieve.org\/us\/?post_type=campaign&#038;p=9383"},"modified":"2022-09-08T09:11:21","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T09:11:21","slug":"drones","status":"publish","type":"campaign","link":"https:\/\/reprieve.org\/us\/campaign\/drones\/","title":{"rendered":"Stop Unlawful Drone Strikes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Conducting drone strikes outside of armed conflict is wrong and unlawful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All too often, it results in innocent people, including children, being killed or injured.\u00a0 It is the death penalty without charge or trial \u2013 without any chance for a person to prove their innocence before being killed.\u00a0It is also counter-productive, undermining attempts to build stable, peaceful societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People attacked by US drone strikes have included acclaimed journalists, politicians, prominent peace activists, and whole families in Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Libya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are at the forefront of the fight against the unlawful use of armed drones.
