It should be upheld all over the world, but it\u2019s not. Thousands of people \u2013 the majority of them children \u2013 are currently held indefinitely in North East Syria (NES).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are stuck in a legal black hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families are held in detention camps there from around the world. Many governments \u2013 including the UK, France, Germany and Sweden \u2013 currently refuse to bring their nationals home. This refusal is creating a security and humanitarian nightmare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why we are fighting for the repatriation of families from NES.
