Danielle Allyn

Danielle is a staff attorney on Reprieve’s U.S. Death Penalty team. In her role, Danielle supports litigation, investigation, and public advocacy work aimed at preventing executions across the United States, exposing the cruelty of the U.S. death penalty system, and speeding the cause of abolition. Prior to joining Reprieve, Danielle worked as a law fellow at the Equal Justice Initiative of Alabama, where she worked on death penalty appeals, prison conditions litigation, and historical research and community engagement around racial injustice. Danielle obtained her J.D. and her Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
