Alice joined Reprieve as a Columbia LL.M Public Interest and Government Fellow in June 2020.

 Alice holds a BA in Government and International Relations and an LL.B from the University of Sydney, as well as an LL.M from Columbia Law School where she specialized in human rights and racial justice. Before coming to Reprieve as a Fellow, Alice worked as a public defender representing Aboriginal Australians in the remote Northern Territory, a refugee lawyer in Australia and Samos, Greece and a commercial litigator at Herbert Smith Freehills. Alice began her career as a Tipstaff (Clerk) to the Honorable Margaret Beazley, former President of the New South Wales Court of Appeal and the current State Governor.
