Mohammed&#8217;s life has been saved thanks to the Reprieve community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, Reprieve supporters came together to fight for Mohammed when we had news that he could be sentenced to death<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>23,708 signed the petition calling on the Saudi Arabian authorities to spare Mohammed\u2019s life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7,876 wrote to the head of the Saudi Arabian Human Rights Commission demanding they act to save Mohammed\u2019s life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thousands of you shared Mohammed\u2019s story when one of the biggest boxing matches of 2022 took place in Jeddah (Joshua vs. Usyk)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mohammed is a child defendant whose so-called &#8220;crimes&#8221; include going to his uncle&#8217;s funeral aged 9. Although his life has been saved, he&#8217;ll spend five more years in prison. We will remain vigilant on his case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Mohammed&#8217;s life has been saved, Saudi Arabia&#8217;s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman continues to oversee child defendants being <a><\/a>sentenced to death including our client Abdullah al-Howaiti.
