The Sunday Times<\/a> reports on the failure of the Foreign Office to evacuate a dangerously ill British woman from a detention camp in northeast Syria, where a leading neurologist says she will die without treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer condition has become critical and a local doctor told her that without urgent surgery, she will die,\u201d our Director Maya Foa said in a letter to Foreign Secretary James Cleverly. \u201cShe requires immediate medical assistance that cannot be provided in northeast Syria.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
