Helen Marshall is a solicitor with over 35 years experience, and was until recently a partner in the London office of a US law firm. She advises clients on investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by financial services regulators, and she previously held a number of senior roles within the UK financial services regulator. She started her legal career as a criminal defence lawyer, and later worked as a court clerk and a prosecutor. Helen has been a supporter of Reprieve for several years and prior to her Board appointment she was involved in providing pro bono legal advice to Reprieve on their Malawi death penalty work.
