Dharsha oversees our South Asia-focused casework, research and advocacy.

Prior to joining Reprieve, Dharsha spent several years working on human rights and justice in Sri Lanka and co-founded a think-tank based in Jaffna, the Adayaalam Centre for Policy Research (ACPR). She currently serves as ACPR’s Co-Director on a voluntary basis.

Dharsha also previously worked at REDRESS as a pro-bono legal consultant and at the People for Equality and Relief in Lanka as their Human Rights Director.

Dharsha trained as a lawyer at a Canadian civil litigation boutique, and is called to the Bar in the province of Ontario. Dharsha holds an HBSc from McMaster University, a JD from the University of Toronto, and an LLM from the LSE.
