Hamilton says Bahrain ‘death row’ letter hit home

At the press conference before the Abu Dhabi grand prix, world champion Lewis Hamilton revealed that he had read a letter from Reprieve client Mohammed Ramadhan, plus a note and artwork from Mohammed’s son Ahmed.

“The saddest thing for me was that there is a young man on death row,” Hamilton said. “When his son writes me a letter, that really hits home. All lives matter. I think there’s definitely work to be done in the background.”

This was reported in the Associated PressReutersNBC, and on page three of The Times.
